Which coolant to use?

I recently bought a 2004 Excursion with a 6.0 and 157000 miles on it. Love the truck! I'm going to be doing my Oil, Fuel, and Air filters this weekend. All the filters are Motorcraft. I would like to flush and refill the cooling system. I'm reading about EGR failures due to coolant chemical levels and things like that. Do I need to use Ford antifreeze or can I use an aftermarket brand like Zerex G5? Are there any guidelines to go by? Any tips or tricks for this. I know my way around cars but I'm not as well versed in the ways of the 6.0. Any guidance would be appreciated. Thanks

Go to the 6.0 forum and read about it, you want to run an ELC coolant and totally flush and remove that ford crap!

You want to use CAT ELC E-1
