7.3 HPOP top end oil change
how can i change the oil on the HPOP on my 7.3? i heard it needs change because the oil is trapped in there or something like that? ive heard it will make your injectors last longer. does anyone know if this is true or not? and if so how to do it? thanks

you dont need to change the top end oil. it is not a closed system. the oil in the high pressure oil system gets recycled to the pan continuously.
but if you feel the need too anyway, suck the oil out of the reservoir and refill...run truck for a minute, then suck out and refill again. then one more time, and you will have changed the reservoir oil. do this after a standard oil change. |

Don't worry about it. As long as your truck has had regular oil changes it will be fine. It does recirculate.
