Tell me why the Powerstroke is better than a Cummins?
I'm just curious, what's your argument? I'm not talking about the truck, I'm talking about the MOTOR. As you can tell by my sig, I'm a Cummins driver.
'99 Dodge 2500 EX Cab 4 door, 24 valve 5.9 Cummins, 5 speed manual NV-4500, Edge juice with attitude, Fass 95 lift pump, S&B intake, 4" MBRP exhaust. According to edge, this combo should be putting out 350 hp and 725 ft lbs torque. |

I have no argument either way, but I'll bet this thread turns into one

all diesels are better than gas engines !!!

that pretty much sums it up

that torque seems a bit high for a '99 with only those things done to it

i personally dont think a powerstroke is any "better" than a cummins . i do however beleive both motors have their own strong and weak points .

I agree with Jrod, I don't think one is better than the other. I like both!

I personally like the sound of powerstrokes better but other than that, it's all about the truck itself
