My introduction and Your advice please

Hey everybody!! I am new to the diesel community but have been a fan for many years. I see I do not have the traditional equipment of most on this forum. I have a Class C Motor Home sporting the Beefy 7.3L PowerStroke. I am very excited to learn how to get the most out of my engine. Primarily I would love to see an increase in fuel economy, but would not mind if I had a sub 10 second 1/4 while the wife is microwaving a burrito for me.

I have been averaging 10-12mpg, mostly highway and weighing in at around 12,000lbs.

I am interested in upgrading but want to be sure I am getting the most bang for my buck. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Rich B

First fill out your signature so we here know what you have. It's under the "user cp"
Listing year, model, tranny, mods and where you're at (smog/ no smog) all help

Hunt around the sight and don't be afraid to ask questions. Lot of great people here to help and the vendors are awesome to work with.
I image you have a 99 to 01 based on a E350 of E450. Check here:http://www.powerstroke.org/forum/e-s...an-discussion/

Exhaust, down pipe, gauges, to start with. Then injectors and a chip. Would be sweet to see it turn heads at the track
10 to 12 mpg sounds pretty good to me. I get that with mods when I'm at 11k. (lead foot mod included)

Post some pics too!

Kinda curios to see what a 7.3 looks like under the van body and if there is a dog house. Kinda wish I had one for the ebpv delete I'm doing.
