1996 programmer

i have a 1996 psd with 325,000 miles on it but still runs great and im thinking of getting an edge evolution programmer for it. some people say its bad idea and the engine wont last any longer if i do but some say it shouldnt hurt a thing. any advice would be appreciated.

that being said avoid the edge and get some custom tunes, and if the motor is sound i wouldnt worry about it, if its an auto trans that stock you may have an issue...

edit: saw you have 5spd, i suggest getting some PHP tunes and im assuming that straight pipe has a 3" DP, you're good to go, you just need some injectors to wake her up a bit more.
