Forum registration

I tried for an hour last week to register for this forum. It would never accept the verification phrase. I had no way to contact anyone to ask about it, so I figured I would just give up and not join this forum.

I tried again at home yesterday (different computer, etc.) and it accepted it the very first time. Just wondering if there was a problem last week or something with my work computer?

I'm worried that others have tried and gave up trying to register in the past. It may be a pain, but it would be nice to be able to contact an administrator without having to be registered in case an issue occurs like I had.

That's possible, but I have never had a problem with any of the other forums I am a member of.

Oh well, just a thought,

I just think the more members you can get the more information can be shared.

I'd have to agree with Dave here. Sounds like a firewall issue during the authentication process.
