axle swap? 3.73 to 4.10

I have an 03 f250 with 35's and 3.73
I also have a 00 f350 dually with 4.10
may question is it possible to just swap the axles and hubs out for a gear change? What would I have to do about the rear?
its just a thought......

Yep, easy swap. I did the almost the same thing. I snapped the pinion in the Dana 50 in my '99. I wanted to go to a Dana 60 like the '02 and newer SRWs have. I also wanted to gear down to 4.10s, so I found a complete front axle out of an '02 DRW. All I had to do was pull the dually adapters off and it bolted right in. The dually adapters are just spacers that are bolted on.

'08 F-350, CCSB, Spartan, Diamond Eye 5".

'99 F-350, 4" lift, 315s, Western Diesel Quad Power, DIY Tymar, MBRP Cool Duals, custom blue/white paint. Totalled.

What about the rear axle? Is it the same width?

I was told the rear dually axle was wider. I didn't have a rear axle to swap anyway, so I didn't look into it much. I just regeared and put a Detroit locker in my original rear axle.
