05 Finally Modded... but what next?

I just dumped 8500 bucks into my truck. It got new ford head gaskets, ARP head studs, new SS MBRP offroad exhaust(need to get muffler delete), new rancho shocks, new rancho dual steering stabilizer, Mag-Hytec diff covers, Mag-Hytec trans pan, afe stage 2, gauges, and egr delete. I plan on getting and SCT with innovative tunes in the future. What would the next step be? it already has a ready-lift leveling kit, 20inch Black Rockstars, and 35" Nitto Trail Grapplers. I don't have pics of it finished but I have some of the build.

I did not. I've been really busy moving and deploying lately and haven't had time to brush up on my reading. Whats the benefit to it? Anything else? Thanks

Theres a bunch of info on here about common 6.0 related problems. I have a 7.3 and I'm no expert. But oil cooler's are the 6.0's main cause of failure I believe. So flushing out the ford gold stuff and adding ecl coolant with a filter keeps the oil cooler from cloggin up and causing head gasket failure. What gauges did you get? You gonna want to monitor eot and ect and make sure there is not a 10 degree difference between them. Sorry Im not more in the know.. Lemme see if i can find the thread about it. Thanks for serving by the way, I did two tours in Iraq as an MP, so I know what your going through

I got HPOP, EGT, and Trans temp gauges. No problem on serving. I did four years in the AF now I support the Army as a contractor. I'll deploy 9 months a year now. This is my second deployment to Afghan. First as a civilian

You need gauges to Monito ECT & EOT to tell what's going on with your oil cooler. You should have had it rebuilt when the head gaskets were done. Get rid of the Ford Gold coolant and switch to ELC if you want it to last.
