This thing is making me CRAZY!!!!

My 2000 F-350 is driving me insane. Whenever I get on it hard, it suddenly loses power. It's like your foot slipped off the throttle. I back out of it, and take it easy, it does ok. I changed fuel filter, didn't help. Can anyone shed some light on this?

alright this is getting above my diesel knowledge level. It may have somthing to do with the EGR or Exhaust Back Pressure Regulator (EBPR) but with out looking at your engine i can't be certian. Sorry man.

I'll keep looking and learning, i'm self taught on gasoline engine's fuel injection, turbos, superchargers, Nitrous, etc. I'll eventually master this stuff.
