Gear vendors, underdrive/overdrive transmissions
It appears that no one here has installed one of these auxillary transmission products, sorry if I have missed the info but a search on each of the forums returned no results.
This appears that to be the -best- (for us) option to get some more miles per gallon in our 6.0 rv and it sure would be nice to be able to type to someone who has direct experience with the product. Yes we do know it is expensive, pushing 4k USD BUT it can be undone alot cheaper than a rear end ratio switch and according to the ADVERTISING no other adjustments are needed once the product is installed.
The cost I can accept but only if the prouduct performs,is anyone out there able to help?
