I don't really know. It's rumored the the 6.0's run hotter. You like that Bully setup? Does it blow any smoke? How hot are the EGT's?-Later

Yeah I love the Bully Dog - the whole going from stock to haulin azz with the flip of the toggle on the fly is sweet . I like the Outlook setup too - 1/4 mile times, EGT's, speed, turbo boost, etc. - it's nice. I'm not sure I'm QUITE as fast as I was on the Predator in the big mode but I put a 13.9 1/4 according to the Outlook monitor and I wasn't really trying, so I'm cool with it. I blow more smoke than I did with the Predator - not massive smoke but it gets attention. I can't say if it's running higher EGT's although it seems to be but it could just be that I'm on the big mode a bit more cuz it's so easy to get there. I'm bumping the red sometimes - 1300 roughly. I'm going to set it to defuel to keep me from screwing anything up. What temp Y'all think I should set the limit at?

1200 is the max. sustained temps. ya should run. Short (talking 10-15 sec) runs over that are ok from time to time.

Cool EGT's

AIR, free up the incoming like thru the grill cold air that most vendors say theres are. And free up the exhaust. Even a bigger turbo or water-meth spray. I hope you don't have high EGT's all the time!!

I'd set it to defuel at 1150 to sty on the safe side of things. Have you done anything to the intake? Otherwise your right foot is the best way to control it, when you see the gauge climbing into the red zone back out of it a bit.

Thanks for the replies guys -
I'm hitting 1300 when I get on her and stay in it. Don't get me wrong, Nate's right my foot is my primary problem. Keep in mind though that I sold my race car, so my PSD is three fold - get me to work, work the ranch and haul azz, so I'm not bashful when it comes to it. When I've hit the 1300 range it's only been for brief moments.
Nate 1150 seems too low from what I've read. I read where 1200 is easy on the 6.0 for a brief period of time. Actually I think Smoke posted something on that before he went to the dark side.
Ramsmoker and Screamin you guys are spot on cuz I'm stock air and I think it's got to be my next mod.
So since I can't hi-jack my own thread, how can I get that air? I've already got the exhaust and minus loosing the cat on the back side let's talk air. What do y'all think?

Air flow is like hydraulics the fewer and larger the restrictions are the more it will flow. So even if you went 4" CAT back the CAT (and everything forward) is still your restriction. A trick some of us Dodge guys try is to cut 2" holes into the bottom (dirty side) of the filter box to allow more air to get in.
