Ok guys,
I need a little help. I don't know if I posted this in the right spot. Oh well.
Anyways. When we was down in FL for vacation we had a little 100watt power inverter plugged into the Power Outlet on my 08 F-250. We had 1 of those small portable DVD players plugged into it for the boys. Half way home the fuse blew on the power outlet. So when we got home I started looking into it since I use the truck for work and need to power outlet for my laptop. I found the only fuse for it which was under the hood in the second fuse box. Now here's the weird part. I've never seen one of these before. It was a small glass top fuse that had a metal wire inside it. It was clearly dead cause the glass was black and you could see the wire was burnt in half. I went to the auto parts store with it and they have no clue what it's called or where I can get one..
Does anyone know what type of fuse that is and which one I need to get to replace it with?
