rebuilding injectors & rear end

My 1997 f250 I just traded for has smoke coming out the exhaust pipe smelling like fuel.
After it is warm this quits and then it is fine.
Is this a injector problem . Previous owner thinks it is one of the injectors sticking .

What are the advantages to having them rebuild. Can I expect a increase in power and or MPG ?
Oh I'am into it for around five bills so far and it is needing a ( not sure what years will work ) rear end . It does drive off the front axle just fine around my place.

Oh and this is my first power stroke

thanks
Dr mac

How many miles?

Getting them rebuilt to Stage 1's..plus a custom chip and intake and exhaust mods will get you almost double the HP and if you drive normally MPG's..

You can use a rear from '95-10..SD rears would require different wheels..
