problems with my sct livewire...........help

ok got my livewire the other day from innovative diesel..plugged it into the truck sent them the number for my custom tunes and and programmed the truck with a canned tune..

got my custom tunes yesterday and i have been trying to upload these files for hours with no luck..

hooked it up to my new laptop and did everything that they said to do in the email from innovative and when i plug the usb in to the laptop the screen just goes blue like its crashing from whatever i just plugged in and restarts..

so i do everything all over on the desktop..i dowload the software sct device updater, then plug the usb in with the livewire hooked to it and follow those install instructions.. then do just like they say ..pull up the updater software and hold the scroll botton down on device and plug it in so alarm light is on and its ready to download...i click on install custom tunes and it either just sits there forever and then says not repsponding or just a bunch of little pop ups come up saying failed or not a sct device...

i even returned truck to stock and checked it and its married unlocked so its ready to install custom tunes...

someone please help im on the verge of throwing this computer through the window
