buying a 6.0...school me on them?

looking to trade my ram in for a powerstroke. im looking at a 05 f350 with 183k. it seems like good money for what they're asking. I know about all the problems that come common with the 6.0 and I plan to make sure those have been addressed. Just looking to get as much info as I can before I trade in for a truck with double the miles. need a diesel and I love the 05-07 styles. so let's here it, good or bad. school me

I'm sure you know part of this but I'll put it here anyway.
Get the junk Ford Gold coolant flushed out and replace with a good ELC coolant with an EC-1 rating and add a coolant filter system. Gauges, exhaust and an SCT with custom tuning is the way to go on the 6.0's. If you plan on running high hp tunes and play hard I suggest studs and full EGR delete. If I think of more, I'll post it up. Oh, BTW
