Anyone know about the 6.2?

I found this old military 6.2 for sale and wondering if you could help me out.. are they worth anything? good off-road rig maybe? guy wants $2500 for it and it has about 165,000 and runs good so far... is it worth my time and money?

Thank you,

Beau

We had a 6.2 in an old Chevy when I was growing up. Thing ran forever and we never had many problems to speak of with it besides the fact that is was gutless as hell (especially with a 24' steel horse trailer behind it). It did get excellent mileage unloaded though mid 20's which would be great for a daily driver/work vehicle.

Slow as snails. Hows the rest of the rig, Didn't they have some BA axles under them? those alone would probalby be able to get your money back if there is an issue
