GM & Chinamax win MT truck of the year????

How the hell did this garbage win??? I am getting very sick of MT taking payoffs for their awards. How can GM even be considered for awards when they have ripped off present and past employees, vendors, creditors, banks, etc, then sell shares to pay back the loan, only to collect the cash then change their minds, and keep the cash? Unbelievable!!!!!

It's a simple concept called jealousy.

The MSM will never give the top dog justice and respect. I've said it time and time again but for instance, the Pittsburgh Steelers are, championship wise, the best NFL team, yet the media never gives them any credo. It's always Tom Brady this, Peyton Manning that, blah blah blah.

I'd take a 1980 Ford Pinto and risk the gas tank than ride a new Chevy or Dodge after the non-Patriotic way they screwed the American people.

They can keep their bailouts, I'll take the ONLY true American company left -FORD!

My thoughts precisely. GM may be making decent vehicles these days but I won't ever own one personally for those reasons. As far as I'm concerned GM is just another government owned entity that's getting credit for things that they don't deserve. It's just like the DMV getting customer service awards. It's all BS.

Here is some trivia for you. Total number of Ford Pinto's that exploded from collisions, 4. Total number of Chevy Trucks that exploded from side impacts (80's models with gas tanks outside of the frame) 1564. Which one got more negative press? Nuff said!

Intersting statistics. I didn't know that. I'm only 26, so I only know the horror stories I've heard. I bet Henry Ford would not appreciate the negative image the media is giving his company!
