Intake manifold questions.

Ok so I'm new to the site, and I tried searching everywhere I could. I'm wondering if anyone has changed their intake manifolds from stock to, the AFE BladeRunner Air Intake Manifold 46-10061, of the CFM+ (CFM PLUS) Ford 7.3L Intake Manifold? Any info on these two products would be awesome, thanks again.

well,on the "general diesel discussion" section,we dont know what kinda truck you have...what is it??? a 7.3 or a 6.0??? my eye's only see 7.3 and the 6.0

7.3.......6637 napa filter, the 6.0 does good with the air raid cold air intake and the "zoodad" mod. imo

It's a 2001 7.3l, the parts I posted are the actual intake manifolds, from the compressor outlet to the intercooler inlet and from the intercooler outlet to the engine. Apparently the stock part is one piece, and the "warm" air coming out of the compressor going to the intercooler transfers heat to the "cooler" air going in to the engine. But because of the heat transfer there is a lost of effectiveness of the intercooler, not much but still enough to where this part will produce gains. I'm wondering if anyone has changed these parts, and was it worth the cost, these parts are about $400.

BS marketing IMO. Waste of $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$, just get a Tymar intake or build a clone..
