6" with 38x15.50x20
I'm trying to decide if I should go bigger with my truck. I have a 6" superlift right now and I was wondering if I should go to an 8". In reality I want to put 38's on my truck. I was thinking if I stayed at 6" and did the cut out bushwackers would I be able to clear 38x15.50x20 on a 20x12 wheel. I am only doing the cutouts because of the rust I have over the rear fenderwells since I can cut most of it out when I do the cut for the flares. Has anyone done this? Pictures would be great please.
Thanks in advance! ![]() |

with 8" of lift, you will have rubbing if you go with 38s. If you do 6" of lift and do the cutout fender flares, you should have no problem doing 38s, and if anything, they will look small. You should be able to fit 40s with cutouts and 6".
