Emissions question for North Carolina residents!

Hello all,
Sometime in the next six months my family and I will be moving to Mooresville NC. So my question is, what kind of emission tests, if any are required? Mooresville is in Iredell County! Any help would be great!!

You have to pass an onboard diagnostics emmisions test, as well as a saftey inspection test.......basically you can't be throwing a code, and you have to have all of your lights, horn, parking brake, ect in working order. Also on a truck, the front tint has to pass, i think 30%...mine passes with my 35%.

But keep in mind that every inspection station is different. I have had 5% on many of my trucks. You justhave to find a "good ol' boy" to inpect it.

I grew up in Iredell county, and moved to Raleigh. Where are you moving from?

my inspection consisted of checking the lights, horn, tires, and wipers. never popped the hood, and never hooked up to make sure there were any codes.
