My brother in law was coming back from Colorado in his 08 Chevy maxipad. The truck started running like crap. Assuming the worst, and running out of ideas, someone at the dealer discovered his stock air intake was packed with snow. Anyone had this happen in a Ford? I figured a cai with a zoodad might plug up, but stock? Other than seeing it happen on IRT, never heard of this happening.

Pretty common in the 08-10. Ford made a winter front to solve the problem. I have never seen it first hand but apparently its somewhat common. I have a winter front to keep the snow out, the heat in and the mileage up.
