Rear Bumper Help
I bought a 2008 250 crewcab a few months back. I've started adding my own touch to it. But the one thing I really want to fix is the rear bumper because for some reason everyone can see that it's bent down....
The first owner must of hitched something to the bumper that was more then what the bumper could support because it hangs down just a hair. You can see it pretty good from the side. I've checked the brackets that hold the bumper to the frame. (Number 3 in the picture below) Those are straight and don't look like they've ever moved. So I'm thinking the bumper it's self is bent. But before I drop $300 on a new bumper I was wanting to check with you guys and see what you thought. Here's the picture of my bumper from TascaParts.com ![]() Here's a picture from the back of my truck. It's kind of hard to see that the bumper is bent down in this picture though. ![]() Any ideas that would fix this and save me $300 would rock! |

the bumper comes off in 10-15 minutes. its worth it to take it off and actually make sure that the brackets are straight and the mounting points on the bumper arent ****ed.

Does the bumper come off when you take off the bolts (number 7)? Cause I didn't have a socket big enough to take those off!
