fuel tank woes

Hey gang, first post

I have a 2001 F-250 super cab short bed 4x4 with the 7.3

Here's my problem, for the last 2.5 years (since when I bough the truck) the last 7 gallons or so have been an absolute pain to put into the fuel tank. I'm measuring the flow using the third number AFTER the decimal point on the pump (making sure that it doesn't go very fast) otherwise the pump shuts off because of all the foam. A fill from almost empty takes about 23 mins, most of that is after the first 20 gal gets in. The last 6-7 gal takes forever. I'm pretty sure its either a 30 or 31 gal tank. How do I fix this?

Do the Harpoon mod, after I did mine I can fill up with the nozzle at full speed and after it clicks off there is only room for about 1/2 to 3/4 of a gallon more and it is in the fill neck.

When I am close to empty it will take 29-30 gallons.

Mines harpooned and i can full flow fill up all the way. But each pump is different. Some put out more foam than others.

now, do I do both the hutch and the harpoon together or just pick the harpoon. those 2 sites seem to go together.
