05-06 3.0l psd

I am looking at buying a 05-06 F250 4x4 with the powerstroke. And was wandering if they have got all the buggs worked out of the 6.0l yet. How does the motor and transmission hold up. What kind of gas mileage could i expect if the truck is a super cab with the 3.73 rear end. Thanks for your help.

th mileage you get really depends on what you are doing. the worst i've gotten was 12mpg pulling a 5,900 pound trailer at 70mph the best ive gotten was 22 mpg at 45mph.
