part time smoker

2002 7.3 185k Hypertech programmer,Mac air cleaner/intake,4.5 stainless exhaust. Truck smokes heavly on cold start. (blue and white) Smoke would stop once truck was put into gear and moving. Dealer replaced all injector o-rings. Same issues. Second visit dealer said 2 injectors are bad. Before replacing injectors a compression test was done. I was told 2 cylinders were low on compression and truck was on last leg. That was last year and 15k ago. Bruning about 4 quarts oil every 5k miles. Now the smoke comes and goes along with a "miss" when underload between 1300 nd 1600 rpm. Sometimes the truck runs with this overwhelming blue/white smoke, and sometimes it runs fine no miss no smoke. No ryhm or reason to the stop and start of this. Any suggestions would be a big help Thanks.

If compression is low you need to find out how low and which cylinders. You could have worn rings or a sticking valve causing the excessive blow by. You could also have worn seals on turbo also causing the blow by. Have the truck checked by a different mechanic to get a second opinion
