Superchips 1805 Question

We have a member from Belgium, Julien (T444E-Twinturbo) that needs some help. His English is poor and I speak no French. We communicate by using a translator program. Works pretty well but seems to break down when the questions are technical. Hope someone out there can help me help him.

I think this is what he wants to know however I am filling in the gaps:

He has a 2001 7.3 Super Duty with a Superchips 1805. Belgium has pollution testing. He wants to limit the maximum RPM his truck will do when the technician floors his pedal in Neutral. He indicated that they push it to 4400 RPMs! He is concerned about them hurting his engine and he is nowhere near a Ford service center! I do not have a Superchip and do not know anything about them.

Anybody got an answer for Julien?

I have a superchip 1705, with mine you can't adjust rev limiter, maybe that's the difference from a 1705 to a 1805. Sorry for not being helpful tho

If that is useful, I know that with one 1705 that does not go. Thank you

My 1805 only lets you raise the rev limiter, not lower it.

Good idea Jim. Maybe I should send my question to Superchips?
