Robby Gordon's 14 Hours to a Championship

We start off at contingency, and capture all the excitement building before the race. Robby finally shows up for his tech inspection. We get his perspective on the upcoming race, then follow him to the merchandise trailer, where he greets his fans.

We open with Robby at the resort. The truck is having some problems, but this team is sure to get things worked out. They do, and it's off to the starting line. We capture the excitement at the start of the race, ending as he slides through turn 1.

I use to idolize Robby Gordon, that was till I met him, I wish I never did.......but that doesn't change the fact that he can drive offroad and in the baja, not so much in Nascar, but when it comes to the desert he is King

Never meet your hero's. When you realize they are human, it loses something.......( or it could just be that Robby's a richard cranium )


But yeah, he IS the king of the dirt, I think the only American to ever get a podium finish in Dakkar, top finish 3rd place overall.

We open as Robby drops in to the Wash, and soars over the Jump 1. Robby and his team talk about what it's like to run the Baja 1000. We intercut these bits with various driving footage. The webisode ends as we see Robby speeding out of his first Pit.

We pick up Robby in the middle of the race. In this webisode, Robby, his team, and the rest of the cast of Baja characters discuss Robby's strategy. Coming in, Robby knows all he has to do is finish within 31 hours, and the Score Championship is his. While he could lay back, and surely secure the Championship, we learn that Robby and his team are even more interested in winning the Baja 1000. Again, intercutting with driving footage, ending at his 2nd Pit.

It's the middle of the night. The first motorcycles come across the line. It's just a matter of moments, and we'll learn who, of the famed Trophy Truck class, will be the first back to Ensenada. A number of voices, primarily Robby's, describe what it takes to win the Baja 1000. We follow the first 3 Trophy Trucks that finish. Finally, Robby crosses the line. He's 4th, but still the Score Champion. An amazing end to a difficult season, but still Bittersweet.
