mixing urea with diesel?

i guess its for emissions? anyone know anything about it?

It gets sprayed in the exhaust, and if I understand it correctly, its like a liquid, refillable catalytic converter. It just reduces emissions.

the way i understrand it is that they shoot the urea into the exhaust pipe right before the diesel particulate filter and its supposed to help clean it.

Oh ok Ive hurd of that but didnt know they had a name for it yet, I thought they refured that as just part of the DPF on new truck, good to know though thanks

It's not mixed with the diesel!

Theres a Good Write up in Diesel World mag,on the Motor and a Follow up on the page after that about the Urea and how the Exhaust system works you guys should check it out!

This Bad Boy 6.7 even has two Cooling systems! One pump on each side of the motor!
one runs around 122 degrees for some of the stuff on the motor and the other runs i think it was 194 thats the main cooling for the motor..... the write up has all the Info thats out for the motor right Now! far as I Know!

If you where running Water injection and Pi$$ed in it i wonder How that would Smell to the tailgaters
