US Fidelis -- DON'T DO IT

I remember reading a post where a member recommended US Fidelis to another member here, but didn't have time to post a reply and now I can't find the thread.

For those of you who don't know, US Fidelis offers aftermarket, extended vehicle warranties. However, this company has had over 1,100 complaints filed against them with the Better Business Bureau and also has had a class action lawsuit filed against them from customers who feel they've been ripped off.

In addition to the above, I've found out that they DO NOT cover anything on your motor other than parts that are internally lubricated. In other words, if your turbo, injectors, FICM, CPS, ICP, etc fails......you're still footing the bill.

Just wanted to warn the other members to stay away from this company so they didn't become the next victim.

Google "US Fidelis" and "US Fidelis Better Business Bureau" and you should be able to read enough to scare you away.

I've read some of those complaint websites before. Boy did US Fidelis piss off a lot of people.

Even if the company was legit and had zero complaints with the BBB, I learned that their warranty sucks for diesels. The stuff that typically fails (turbos, injectors, FICM's, etc)........yeah, they're not covered.
