Interesting Statement

I was told by a Diesel Mech. 9 out of 10...that's 90% of all 6.0s will blow a head gasket...no matter what year it was

90% is a bit high I could see 50%

I'm with Dave. I don;t see it being THAT high. There's too many people here alone (myself included) that have not had any HG issues with the 6.0

his exact words were 9 out of 10 will blow a head gasket ..some at 30,000 miles some closer to 200,000...depends on how you drive...

That's what I thought 90% kinda high

Maybe in the early days..03 and 04 models..when all the problems....maybe...but there were way to many changes in 05-07 for that number to be that high
