Crazy MPG

Ok I know this sounds crazy...I have had my F250 for 3 weeks now.....and took it on a Road trip over Thanksgiven Holiday.....and it was mostly a hwy. trip...I drive 40 miles one way to work....half on a hwy. half through the city....now this is the crazy part...this thing gets better MPG AVG. hwy./city then on the road trip 95% hwy....so how crazy is that...????

how are you calculating your mileage?

Going how fast down the highway? Once you pass that 2100ish RPM mileage goes downhill.

Had the Cruise set on about 73 mph....around 2000/2100 rpm

going by the on board computer....avg 17.6 on the hwy and 18.0 hwy/city avg.

really.....that bad huh....oh well yea should have done it by hand.....LOL....guess that is what I get putting my trust in it huh.....LOL

In a 3 week Relationship and it's already lying to me.....so sad...

Highway sounds good, but the city can't be right. Let us know what the true MPG is when you can

I do really well city, haven't calculated it but where I live i can basically lug it around at like idle to 1300rpm everywhere, I barely use any diesel in town!

Ok.....the Lie meter l was wrong...go figure.....in town / hwy avg.. 16.3
