Should I get a F450

Ok I need some opinions, I am on the fence here. I found a nice 08 F450 cheep. low miles fully loaded, should I get rid of my 04 F350 4x4 crewcab with the 6.0 and go for the F450 4x4 with the 6.4? I will use it to tow my trailers and for a daily driver. As far as fuel milage I know it will suck but I can deal with that. Let me know... Thanks

If your truck has been trouble free, then I wouldn't recommend it. However, if you've had a lot of problems out of your truck, then I'd go for it.

4.88s would be the only downfall with the 08 as a daily driver.

Well my truck has been fine. I am thinking 6.0 vs 6.4 and better towing. fuel milage is not too big a deal. I was thinking a overdrive down the road maybe to help. If I get it I will keep it long term and that is what bothers me about the 6.0 will ir be a long term truck? Plus the 450's Are SWEET Looking !
Thanks for the replys and keep them coming and if any of you have pic's post em up.

the 4.88's were an option the 4.30 is standard. check the tag on the rear end to see what it has. if you do alot of highway driving i really wouldnt go with a 4.88 truck not just because the fuel mileage, but because you will be reving the piss out of it at 70mph

If I actually had something to tow, I would so roll a 450. It might even look something like this. Plus I love the power potential of the 6.4

I agree i will be reving alot.. I am thinking go with 285/70 19.5 35" tall tires with a 4" lift. the tire size will help a little and I can always go with a aux overdrive if I have to . I also agree I think the 6.4 would be a better choice that my current 6.0. this is why I am on the fence about it, I drove it abd its awsome and it turns way better than I expected however it does tack out that diesel alot and the speed limits here are 75 and 85-90 is not all that uncommon.
