O-Rings, Mileage, Can't figure it out
Well, I used to get around 15-16 town 18-20 highway mileage out of my 95 dually. Last april I had to re-ring my injectors cuz it was pumping oil into my feul system. Now, the best I can get is 12 town, 15 highway. I'm sure I did the o-rings correctly. The trucks seems to run great, I know I need a new ICP, but it still has power, doesn't smoke, etc. Just a little bit of a loping idle, like it's hunting for the right rpm. I unplugged the ICP, and it idles steady, so I think that it needs a new one. But i can't figure out my mileage problem. I'm hoping it's not the dreaded " I " word, but let me know what you guys think. can the ICP cause crappy mileage? Or am i looking at tired injectors, maybe damaged a little when the o rings blew?
