6.0 or 7.3

I have had both (currently 7.3) but thinking on a newer truck then my 1995. The 6.0 prices are coming down. How do you guys feel about a 6.0 approaching 100k miles and then going on toward 200k. I figure I can afford one that is in that 100k mile range. OR should I hunt down a 7.3?? Most of the 7.3's that I have found are over 100k miles. Maybe some towing in my future like a camper and or a boat. Also, veg capabilities?? My '95 runs on veg but not a huge priority. Comforts??? Thanks!!!

i had two 7.3's and two 6.0's and love the 6.0 way better. veggie isnt good for the 6.0 like a 7.3 is. i towed with both also and liked the way my 6.0's towed better. i had the egr delete, sct's, but no studs on the 6.0's and never had a problem. so all in all i would get a 6.0 over the 7.3 if i was in the market.

I would lean towords an 06 or 07 6.0 if you go that way. I just feel uneasy about the earlier ones if they have not had the headstuds and egr done. If they have though I would not worry to much.

So in the 06's did Ford upgrade the head studs?? I used to have an '05 (replaced the turbo, fuel pump and a couple injectors all before 80k. Thanks god for the 100k PSD warranty) Keep bringing the opinions!! Thanks!!
