overhead trip computer

I bought a03 f250 a couple weeks ago the trip computer never worked. Ive seen a guy on ebay trying to sell directions to fix it for $50. For that price i will just not use it lol. But if anyone has any ideas on how this is fixed id appreciate it. Mine dosnt work at all thanks

Its probably a bad solder joint on the circuit board, if you search here theres pictures of the problem areas and where to re-solder. It took me like 10 minutes to solder it and its beed working for a year now.

I ordered my truck without one. About a month ago I decided maybe I should get one. Payed $20 at a wrecking yard for the overhead console computer with console. It was all prewired except for the thermonitor (sp?). Works great otherwise.
