Seeking advice on a cheap tonneau cover.
I've got a long box, and my Ford roll up cover decided to take flight tonight. It was windy, and the latch was getting weak. All I heard was two thumps and a sickening whoosh and there it was..Gone.
So I've been looking on Amazon and eBay and seeing them elcheapo tonneau covers, wondering if they're any good. Anyone tried one?
I've had a tonneau pro trifold on a previous truck and I was really happy with it, but a trifold won't work on this one since I have an auxiliary fuel tank with a top tool box. The trifold just wouldn't allow me access to the toolbox without taking the cover completely off.
I need a cover, I carry too much stuff with me for my job that really doesn't do well in the weather, so I'm going to be pulling the trigger in the next day or so, but my budget is a little shy because i just dropped $700 on other goodies for the truck and my little lady has me on an allowance. So I'm trying to keep it under $300. Thoughts?
