a few issues
I have a few questions. I bought my 1999 f250 a few days ago for really cheap so i knew it would need a little work. It has the 7.3L with the 6 speed manual tranny.
when driving down the interstate at 70 mph, if i go WOT my rpm's jump to about 3k and feels like my clutch is slipping. is this a feature on the truck or is my clutch really slipping.
next, my truck is leaking diesel and coolant i know for sure. but something is leaking under my tranny. I looked and its a yellowish color. looks like engine oil. i took a sample out of the tranny and its a dark brown/red. so its not that. my engine oil is at the full line. the powersteering is 3/4 full and brakes is about 3/4 full. any ideas?
last is the steering. i have about 8 inches of slack turning to either side and its makes a hissing noise. what could this be? thanks everyone. i wont be able to reply back, because ill be on my cell phone from now on... thanks again.
