Heat

from what i have been told heat is your diesel's worst enemy....they say one of the best mods is to replace your exhaust with a 4" pipe from the turbo back...is this something a exhaust shop can do....who has had this done...???

Best?,,,Maybe. Good ?,,,Definitely.
Exhust shop will install it. The if and but will have to do with wherther you want to loose the cat. Most dealers and large shops will not delete EPA required devices but mom & pops often will. Ask around.
