I've HAD enough!! Ha!
So, While Driving my 01 Ram 2500 To work on Wed. of last week...APPARENTLY, I had a Transmission line that didnt wanna hold any more pressure, and took a Crap on me...Lovely 'eh?? NTM, A Trooper was nice enough to tell me I was smoking like one of those Medical Marijuana joints...Sure enough, It was done...SO... I'm OFFICIALLY Retiring my 2001 Ram...With 256,000 miles on it, so not a bad run, but I've had the Truck long enough...Well, since December of '07 LOL! SO, I came across a 2004 F-250 Lariat that looks like it'll work perfect. I had our local ford place pull me the Build Sheet and an Oasis Report (to which I can't read the Oasis report for the life of me, but it did go in for something!) It looks like it went in for this: sorry if I get it wrong, bloody letters are too small for my eyes LOL! Part Number - 4C3Z 128599AARM Part Description - IDM MOD ASY-FUELINJ (Does Not operate properly) Part Number - 4C3Z 9F452A Part Description - TRANSDCR - EGR BACK PR (no condition described) Says it went in for this at 90,786 miles, Has 98 on it now...So is that the EGR thing ya'll mentioned a while back in my first post? If so...Then How long would I have BEFORE it could potentially Burst Again?? I'm going to pick this one up...While I'm a firm beleiver in the Cummins, It's Time for a Change, and this Ford seems to fit my Bill...So, Lets hope it'll last as long! looks like it had injector drive modual and egr back pressure problem. hopefully someone with more info will chime in. welcome to the ORG.
