runs away when cold

On cool days my truck will speed away when you put it in drive if you dont let it sit and warm up,idle is smooth and reverse is ok,no problem in summer.

On cold mornings the brakes wont hold it and if they did, it would kill the engine but in reverse it's fine,Agent Austin in the summer you would not know there is a problem,on cold morning if you put it in gear it kills the motor.

Sounds like the clutch is locking up or something and until the tranny oil gets warm it is almost seized of some sort.
