I sent some PMs out to the MD/DE locals. We have well over 9,000 members and only less than 230 pins on the map.

I'm with you on this one Gord!

I put my spot on the map yesterday, but my balloon came up as a registered user instead of a premium member. Did I do somthing wrong when I did it? Not a big deal Im sure it was operator error

Knowing that we have just short of 10,000 members, only about 1/10th of them (or less) are actually active. That is going to cut down on how many put there pins in. Also, I noticed a few guys that have pins in MD that don't even post here. They have zero posts.

Though your right! We DO need to get more MD area folks on here.

Well, we are averaging 12-1300 active members a month, and I'll be happy to get them on the map.

Gord.

Even with Hayman passin through it's lookin kinda lonely in this neck of the woods. I'm sure there are more members in Oregon and Idaho. I see a lot of PSD's around, but I have yet to see another one with a Powerstroke.org sticker in the window. In our group here at work, only the boss and I have diesels and his is a Cummins. So it's hard getting my co-workers excited about the forum.

I may end up back in Oregon, depending on whether i get this Corrections job or not. I will be game for any get together after my academy training, so illok forward to possibly meeting my fellow Oregonians (since i am still an Oregonian at heart)!!

Well Gord it seems to be working! It looks like we gained at least 10 pins on the map in the last 24 hrs. That's close to a 5% gain overnight. Maybe we should post detailed instructions on how to setup your pin. It's been a while since I set mine, but as I recall it wasn't the most user friendly thing I've ever done and I don't usually get confused very easily.
