exhaust leak

I just got a 00' F 350 7.3 I noticed a exhaust leak on down tube about 18" from turbo, My concern is I'm going on a trip next week should I try and replace before towing a 24' toyhauler to a another state. If I don't what problems can it cause? Thanks great site it has been very helpful.
