Finally got my own!

Well I just joined this morning, picked up an 02 F250 on friday, it was the only one around, the 7.3's arent exactly easy to find around here. Red, super cab, short bed. Runs strong.. of course..using it to haul around feed for my horses and tow a 2 horse trailer and flat bed trailer now and then.... auto tranny unfortunately i love the 6speeds.. I never thought i'd buy a ford until I drove the 7.3's here at my ranch. Great trucks.. 2 F250's(one 6spd one auto) and an F550 for towing the big 4 horse trailer. anyway if ya'll got any tips for me let me know. Im not unfamiliar with modifying vehicles.
My one question is I got the battery light that says "check gage" go on when i turn the key to the on position to let the glow plugs start. Not a clue what that means in detail at least.
