Thats about what I was getting at. He was hammering that thing when bone *** cold. I cant imagine that motor is in too good of shape by now

Dude - Block heater!!!! What a dufus.

I've held down the pedal just enough to get it to quit loping, but that's it. That was before I found the block heater plug. It's so much better.

When a diesel (or even a gasser) is bone cold, I dont even touch the gas (unless it's to keep it from dying) until it's decently warmed up.

This has been brought up before and I'll say what I said last time. Sometimes you gotta rev up engines to keep them running. I do it all the time on every motor I run.
