05 6.0l engine hours, where are they stored?

Hi all,

I'm looking at a theft salvage King Ranch 05 6.0 that's had the interior removed and replaced with another interior. The odo that may not be original shows 157K miles. I'm not sure this is the original odo, or the correct mileage.

Where are the engine hours stored? Are the engine hours likely to be correct? In otherwords, can they easily be changed to make it look like the truck has less hours than in reality. I understand they are stored in the ECU.

If I get the engine hours, is the average I should be using 38mph to calculate what the mileage should likely be?

It should be the original one. I don't know why anyone would steal that but the miles and hours are stored but Ford would be the only people that could find out for you.
