Oil Volumes
I had a 2004 6.0L F-250 that was stolen, I am looking at a 2010 F-250 with the 6.4L. On on my '04, I notice oil leaking under the hood and spraying on the hood insluation, when I checked my oil levels they always seemed high. When I changed the oil, I would add a total of 15qts per the manual and Ford Shop - when I started noticing the excessive oil, I reduced the oil to 14qts., my dip stick always read full but the oil leaks stopped.
What is the correct oil volume for the 6.4L using a WIX Oil Filter?
