PUTTING A 6.4 IN A 99

well im thinking about doing it if its anyway possible...i can get a motor for about 6k and im probably going to replace my motor anyways.......so why not switch it out with a 6.4??? have all the power and id even get a spartan tuner for it hahaha

so doe anyone think its possible?

I'm sure it is. I've really been contemplating this swap myself. finding a totaled 6.4 so I can swap interior and everything. Stripping down the egr system and everything and transplanting a bare bones 6.4 and 5r110 etc... I think it would be awesome!

id just need a transmission.......damn it would my tranny from my 99 work??? probably not im assuming bp's probably completely different

yeah pretty sure the bellhousing is different from 4r to 5r series... but I'm not 100%
