7.3 life

ive been reading through out the forum yesterday and today, and i havent really found my answer. so my question is my 1999 7.3 has 160,000 miles how many more miles can be expected from this truck. it is well taken care of regularly serviced. what is the most miles you have seen on a 7.3?

You are just broken in.The keys to taken care of any vehicle is do maintenance as manufactures recommendations with the best products you can find.You found the best
place to start this forum is a great place for answers.It ranges from the young guys who
put most all there cash in their truck and save a bit for a women to the married guy
who has to wait to trick his truck out a bit because he has responsibilities.

a well maintained 7.3 should easly go 300k-500k+ miles

I had about 295,000 on my '99 and 260,000 on my '95 when I sold them

My dads 7.3 has over 500.000 and only thing it has needed was an HPOP and a clutch plus lil things like glow plugs.

I have 126k on mine, runs like a champ. My friend Nick (GM Duraturd on here) has over 275k on his and he just bought stage 1 injectors. They run a long time.

i have seen 714K plus somewhere (don't know how accurate is), I have 211K+with just minor issues.

there great motors, probably one of the most reliable motors every built for a pickup, and there mods to make them even more reliable

My neighbor has 498k when his odometer stopped working, about a year ago....and he drives around 45 miles a day now
