Do gauges void warranty

Hey guys do gauges void your warranty?

I really really CAN'T see why or how.... but my feeling is, probably. Tapping into the exhaust... blahblahblah. But I didn't vote because I haven't a clue FOR SURE. But i'm sure it could.

it might since you have to drill in the manifold and tap into the map line. ask ford first to be safe.

Yes and I'm sure it depends on the dealership too.

My dealer didnt care about mine. They replaced my whole motor on my 350 and didnt say a thing about them. They even called to ask where I had my power wire hooked up so they could put it back for me.

Yeah they are good guys the are crappy mechanics but they are cool with mods as long as I dont melt the turbos from towing with a race tune.

Having gauges alone will NOT void the warranty. It is not a performance item and in no way changes the factory parameters.

I didnt think it voided the warranty either.

i also dont see how it would void it, but if the dealership was being an a$$ about it then it would only void the items that were modified... manifold that you tapped, Map line/sensor and any interior parts that were modded
