Im wantin to go for the 18 wheeler look and i know there are probably several of you that know what im talking about. Im looking for pics of trucks with lights down the side, up front, in the back, where ever. I've got access to several of those amber "runnin lights" for a dirt cheap price and am lookin for ideas of how to mount them on the truck

Looks good man. How many do you have down the sides and where did you mount them? I was thinking under the door where that thin strip of metal is that the steps mount to? What gauge wiring is needed?

This reminds me how much i hate wiring

I've got 7 lights down each side. I got a set of pinch weld covers and mounted the lights to them. As far as wiring, I've got led lights so they draw practically no current so IIRC, the pigtails coming off the lights are only 18 ga. so I used 16 ga. wire. If you're using incandescent lights, I'd probably use at least 16 ga.
